Hi! I’m Casey,

I never intended to be in the sustainability field.  Sure, I knew about climate change, but it wasn't central to my life, professionally or personally. After a serendipitous turn in my career, I found myself researching how we teach youth about climate change. Through it, I came to believe the urgency of the climate emergency and how it impacts every aspect of health and well-being on the planet.

Regardless of the roles I've held since, whether it's dad, teacher, researcher, cross-sector convener or ISSP-SEA certified director of sustainability, I  empower others to (re)imagine their connection to climate change  so that together we can build a cleaner, safer, healthier, more vibrant and just world where all can thrive.

I'm driven by deep curiosity, a spirit of playfulness and an ever-growing sense of connection and gratitude to all the inhabitants on this this wondrous blue dot.
